First stop – Ft Pierce, FL

First leg of our journey went well. As the day progressed and we moved further north the weather started to change as well.

Ft  Pierce is a good stop to clean the boat, refresh, relax and enjoy some Tiki bar music for Father”s Day.

    So close but so far. It’s to take that guy to Miami it would have been a great opportunity to see the boat. Keep Ft Pierce in mind on the way back, wishing you following winds and smooth seas.

    Dad & Nada

    How wonderful to be able to follow along with you on your trip via this journal. Hope your first day out was uneventful, peaceful, relaxing, and that day two brought more of the same. Hope The Contessa (the boat, not the wife) is behaving as expected, and that all is well in every possible way.

    Looking forward to the next update.

    Grandchild number 9, Michael, is on his way to California in a convoy of cars filled with Drexel friends, his bandmates among his co-travelers. They are trying to make it to Chicago by 11pm to play a show, as only a group of 20 year olds could arrange; they will be cutting it close.

    See, you are not the only adventures in the family…but you are by far the most adventureous adventurers of all.
